Chocolate fountain price(Is this too much?)

I really want this but the Watermill provides it for $1 a person plus a flat $500 fee...This comes out to about $625 in the end? Is this reasonable?

I heard Audrey's does it for $3 a person..so that would be like $325 versus this? But I dount the Watermill will agree to have someone else bring one in?

Tell them the price difference girl!!!!! That is way too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk them down or into letting you bring in someone else.

No audrey's is just the $3 per person

I would talk to the hall about it. I doubt since they can provide one they would want you bringing it in from an outside vendor but show them the price difference. I mean seriously arent you already paying them enough???? they should at least meet audrey's price if not do better.

Re: Chocolate fountain price(Is this too much?)

When I went to the watermill showcase they had 2 fountains going, milk chocolate and white chocolate. Check to see if they give you one or both.

Re: Chocolate fountain price(Is this too much?)

i would definately fight them about lowering the price. see if you can get a price quote showing the difference and maybe they will come to an agreement with you. otherwise a bunch of angry brides are gonna come down and fight for you

Re: Chocolate fountain price(Is this too much?)

The only extra fee that Audrey's charges is $50 for delivery. The $3pp includes the set up & breakdown, the choc. fountain (obviously ) and six dipping items. They listed them to me as pineapple, marshmallows, pund cake, rice crispy treats, pretzels, & strawberries. They have other items avalable that you can swap or add in. Plus Tom is there the entire night to assist! We're also budgiting in for tipping Tom since he does all this hard work.
