A friend of mine is looking for a caterer for her wedding at her parents' home in Port Jefferson - her info is below - anyone have any suggestions?

'I'm looking for a caterer for a small wedding party, about 50 people, which we will have at home. The problem is the crowd is terribly picky about their food. I'm hoping to find someone who cooks in the style of a traditional French bistro, in the sense that they use lots of butter, fat, cream, fresh, non-processed ingredients. They serve crusty bread, extremely strong coffee, etc. The dishes don't have to be French - any creative, international dishes are fine. I would be very grateful for any recommendations. Thank you !!!'

Try Elegant Eating in Smithtown I believe. They did my RD & it was AWESOME!!!!!!!

The food is GREAT & service is wonderful. They clean everything up & even bake fresh cookies while there.

OMG, She should call Mark of Distinction located in Port Washington. They are awesome!!!!! They did a cocktail party and are a full service caterer. They blew my mind!

culinary studio in Huntington and Kitchen Caberet in Garden city - both are excellent

i have done some work for her as a favor to my friend and she is ALWAYS in the hamptons doing people like bear stern's house!
