New York Sports Club

Anyone a member there? Im thinking of joining, and of course the 'sale' ends tomorrow. Is $65 a month for a month to month membership a good rate?

I know NYSC is more expensive than most but I have a feeling its not going to get cheaper than this.

Any input?

i'm a member there. i have no complaints. but it really depends which gym you're going to use. some are more crowded than others, have more equipment etc. as far as the price, it was pretty much in line with other gyms in manhattan, though ones on the island are obviously cheaper.

Yes, I am on Long Island. I was curious to see whether I was getting 'taken' on their version of a sale, or whether this is really a good price. I dont really have anything to compare it to.

Oh my god- I pay almost $90 for my NYSC membership but I live in NYC and my home gym is here. I know it's less expensive in Long Island but I am suprised how much less it is! That sounds like an excellent deal to me! I wish I could switch my membership to that price- I guess I will when I eventually move out there! Do it!
