Woodbury Country Club VS. Fox Hollow

Need your help - any insite you have on either reception hall would be appreciated. we are trying to make a list of places to check into and although i know a little about FH - I know nothing about WCC. any thoughts?

I went to both when I was looking. I wound up booking Bourne Mansion, but if I had to pick between FH and WCC, I would pick FH. I think you get a lot more for your money there than at WCC. Plus there is more than one event at a time at WCC. Good Luck!! FH was about $135 for a Sat night and WCC was about $110.

i booked the fox hollow for a saturday night in october and it was 105, for a friday night is was 85. That was last year, prices may have gone up.

I did not book either but when we went we had told FH that westbury manor gave us a much better price which was $20 less than Fox Hollow and they matched it . You can really bargain at Scotto places if you try. They want to beat everyones price.

we were considering both. we ended up with wcc. honestly the major reason why we didnt book fox hollow was b/c i couldnt get the room that i wanted on any date that i picked. my FH went to wcc on his own on his way home from work one day, and really liked it, then i went back with him and we booked it on the spot!

i recently went back there with our photographers to show them the grounds, and i have to say it was then that i (we) were sure that we'd made the right decision. not only is it clean, well kept, and beautiful, but ALL of the employees that we ran into - managers waiters, maitre-d's and hostesses were just THE SWEETEST!!! they were wonderful. i cant wait to go and choose the menu, etc. they are super accomadating and are right there with you - WHENEVER you have a question about anything, they are so helpful and really do everything they can to help. please FM me if you want anymore info!!

My future sister in law got married a number of years ago at FH and has since been to weddings there, She loves it there. I have never been so I can't say. I am good friends with the manager of the WCC and he is amazing. I was thinking of going with them but at the last minute fell in love with another place. I was just at the WCC last night for the managers sons 21 birthday party and it was spectacular. I know crazy to have a big thing for a birthday. I thought it was wonderful. There was a wedding going on and I never even knew it until the end of the evening when the manger told me. FM if you want more details about WCC.

I was considering both also. I picked the Woodbury because I loved the look of it, the grounds outside are amazing, and even though they both have more then one wedding at a time, at the WCC you each have your own floor separated by the lobby with its own bathrooms and bridal suite on it, so it seemed more separated.

I picked the WCC because of the beautiful grounds, the selection of food (which was delicious- I did the tasting already) and the rooms were perfect for us. Here is a link I posted pics on.
