September Brides - We're Getting Married NEXT MONTH!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

How's everyone doing with their planning? The only big thing we have left is tuxedos, then it's all the little stuff like guest book, flower girl basket, programs, menus, etc. (I won't list everything so I don't freak myself out!)

I'm excited, anxious, and nervous all at the same time!

I can't believe how fast time is going by now! We also have to still do tuxes, and all the alterations for me and the girls...And all the little things! I had a nightmare last night that I forgot to get my hair and makeup done and Ray said I looked Ugly during our ceremony!!!

jvs....when are you choosing the menu and the cake? do we have to go to the bakery that the Riviera uses to choose it? i'm getting really excited too! I hope the weather isn't rainy like today...july was a really rainy month!

julz -What a dream! But you have Nothing to worry about, you are going to be such a Gorgeous bride!! (And you would still be even if you didn't get your hair and makeup done!) My recurring nightmare is that I'm getting married and have only accomplished what was done by the day of the dream. But then, by the end of the dream, I remember that my wedding is still months away!

debbiedee77 - We're having a tasting on 8/8 and will pick the menu right after it. You definitely don't have to use the bakery the Riviera recommends, we're not. We're getting our cake from Audrey's and are getting a $100 credit from the Riviera. (Wish it was more, but, oh well!) I'm praying for good weather too, especially since we want our ceremony and cocktail hour outside!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhh.... less than 2 months to go.... it still hasn't fully hit me. I'm not nervous, but I am excited & anxious, I want to go on my HM already!

What's left?
Also have to purchase the accessories (ring pillow, flutes, bubbles, etc).
We also have to meet with the vendors - photo for 'must have pics'; dj to give song selections; church for rehearsal, etc.
The most important this? Still haven't seen my dress. I hope to go for a fitting this week. If not, next Mon the latest.
Have to send our RD invitations.
Haven't set up hair & makeup trials.
Haven't attended a Bridal Shower.
Have to buy BP gifts.
Need marriage license.
Finish Seat Chart.
And all the last minute things (wax, tan, create vendor list, etc).

If I'm not forgetting anything... that's about it, I think?

I'm 39 days away, and already I can't sleep!!!
I have all the final appointments made(menus, florist, DJ, hair trial) so August will be a busy month for me!
We also have to choose tuxes, pick up rings(they're ready ), get a few things for the HM, book RD, finish favors, I think that's it!!!

I know time is flying by now!!! I got my marriage license on Friday so that is done everything major is booked and done!! going wednesday for the menu, linen and cake filling and tuesday going for my second dress fitting!! the girls are going on the 16th and so on!!! I can't believe it!!!

I'm so excited!! I feel like this summer has gone by so fast.
I have my second fitting on Aug. 4th. - 1 month from our wedding day!
The programs and donation cards are almost done.... We're going over that tonight.
I still have to make the candy bags, and rose petal cones... But that's the fun part.

We picked our menu, linen and cake.

Still waiting on about 65 rsvp's -UGH!!!!
Nothing like waiting to the last minute.... Our RSVP date is August 4th!!! We made our min. So I'm ok with it... I just want to get working on the seating chart and place cards! I am trying to get all this done so that the week before the wedding I can TRY to relax. lol!!!

Now we just have to make our final payments.... And I guess get a marriage license!

Where to start my list....

I still need to pick out tuxes and flowers, get fitted for dress and bm need to get fitted. Still waiting for my rings to be done. And get this, they just told us today that they had to send it to a different country to do!!!!! I will definitely need to check in with them everyday until I get them. I BETTER HAVE THEM BY MY WEDDING! And the only reason I found out was because the sales girl slipped and told my mother they sent it away....

I still need to get E pics done, little late with this too. I will be going to the hall this weekend for a tasting to hopefully I can pick out the menu, linens and cake then too. Oh yeah and the marriage license. Not to mention I am still waiting for quite a few rsvps, but I did give them until 8/20.

So much to do so little time.
