Frizzy hair in the summer months. Anyone w/ natually curly hair that straightens out there???

I looked at all the beautiful pics that you all have posted of the wonderful up do's. My concern is that I am getting married outside in August. I am not sure if my hair will really hold up. Does anyone have tempermental curly hair (that they straighten)? Can you post a pic of your wedding hair? Before I purchase my head piece, I would like to get some idea of how I am going to wear my hair. My hair will frizz even w/ hairspray in it if it is humid enough.

I have curly hair and i flat iron it EVERYDAY. I used to chemically straighten it, but i still had to blow it out...with my flat iron, it almost NEVER frizzes!! (and people cant belive that i have curly hair!)

That is me too. I don't use a flat iron every day, but when I do use it my hair stays straight with no frizz. No one believes I have curly hair either because it is almost always straight!
How do you plan on wearing your hair? Straight???

I would really like to have it half up, or even down. But here are some pretty styles. Some of the tendrals ARE straight

Looks to me like those tendrils will frizz up! See if you can get a hair trial in August either this year or next year so you can try the style out in humid weather.

I think I am going to invest in an iron . Just to have. But you are right. A trial is a good idea. Maybe there are products out there that would also be helpful. As is I use Sleek Look from Matrix, which is okay.

Re: Frizzy hair in the summer months. Anyone w/ natually curly hair that straightens out there???

I have REALLY curly hair and had no problems with it for my September wedding.

I had my stylist blow it out the day before for the Friday night rehearsal dinner. I needed my hair done anyway, but it also helped cut down on the time for my Saturday wedding.

Saturday morning she quickly blew out my hair and then set it in rollers for some waves so it would match my hair piece. (Click here to see my wedding day hair.)

I'll have to find a picture with my curly hair to give you an idea.
