I think TR's on Hillside Ave in Williston Park has an upstairs dinging room

Piccola Bussola.. they just recently opened a new one on Jericho Turn. just east of Jericho Terrace..it's family style and the food is great!

La Parma on Willis Ave is wonderful. However, I don't know if they have a private room.

Why did you rule out TR's?

It's on our list to look at and I thought maybe you could help save us the trip.

We love Maxxel's but it's a little expensive.

I live right by the Wendy's (not that I'd do it there) but I'll look around and FM if anything else comes to mind.

eh, we went there once and the service was terrible.....

Are you looking for something with a separate room? When we were looking to book our rehearsal dinner we narrowed it down to Jonathan's, Ecco and Davenport Press (we wanted a separate room). We ended up choosing Davenport because we thought they had the best food. TRs is great for sandwiches and burgers, but I wouldn't recommend it for a rehearsal dinner. Ivy Cottage is terrific but really small and I doubt they could accommodate that number on a Friday night. Pomodorino has a back room that is semi private, but we were looking for something a bit nicer. Riverbay and LaParma are also yummy, but do not have private rooms.
