Re: Jessica McClintock BM dresses

OMG I wanted to get my BM dresses there. Well I went to a Jessica Mcclintock store In Massachusetts, the manager was extremely rude pushy and abrupt. I had never had a horrible experience like that before. The dress I wanted I was there were only ten size 8's left in the country and I better give the manager all the BM's credit card #'s the next day If i wanted that dress. I felt pressured and upset. I called the district manager and complained. The dress I wanted had the most beautiful color called Cerise. I won't walk into that store again. Although Im sure not everystore is like that and other people have had better experiences. But just letting you know what happend to me.

Re: Jessica McClintock BM dresses

That is the color I want-cerise! I really wanted pink and a lot of the designers don't have a pink in satin. I like Bill Levkoff's seperates, but no pink. Jessica McClintock has two pinks the cerise and a light pink. The store in NJ in the Garden State Plaza has been really helpful. It's just they don't make extra length and one of my BM's is 6 feet tall. It's hard to get out to NJ to have her try it on and the mall is only open on Sat. not Sun. The help has been extremely helpful(thank goodness) I'm just nervous because the dresses come in 2-4 weeks and I'm not getting married until next July. If I wait, they could get discontinued... Is that too long for the girls to have their dress? Sorry so long, thanks for your help!

Re: Jessica McClintock BM dresses

It could be a bit long I mean you never know if the girls will gain weight or get pregnet. I was thinking the same thing. I just want to get it out of the way though b/c there is just so many damn things to do. But cerise I want that color for the dresses. my wedding is sept. wedding. It should look great! Good luck

Re: Jessica McClintock BM dresses

there's a dress shop in Centerport or Northport that sells Jessica McClintock gowns. Thinks it's called Dorothy Walsh. I don't think its a bridal boutique only but someone I work with knew someone who got her dress there.
