Anyone believe in fate/super natural????

Sorry, this is long, but I wanted to know if anyone else was being 'guided' to the alter by powers greater than they:

1st. I've posted on here my story about how when I was a little girl, I used to carry around a toy motorcycle and named the guy on it FH's name and would go around at 4 years old saying 'when I grow up I'm gonna marry (FH's name) on a motorcycle'.

2nd... So I'm shopping for my dress at Macy's. Mind you, my mother's mother was a seamstress named Betty. My mom put my grandmother's diamond necklace on me to try on my dress with. The sales lady that helped me her name... Betty! The dress my mom said was designed by the designer for me - it looked great even though it was 4 sizes too big!

3rd (also grandma Betty related)... MOH and I went to Macy's Manhasset so she could see me in my dress. Well, MOH has an excellent sense of direction and GPS in her car just in case. When coming back to Garden City - where we were meeting our men for dinner, she gets on the LIE and does what makes sense. When I'm a passenger I never pay attention to where I'm going, BUT at one point in my chatting I look up and we were at the exit for Springfield Blvd. I told my MOH who thought we were near my house and I told her 'no,we're in Queens and to get off at this exit b/c it's where my grandmother had lived when she was alive so I know where I am'. My MOH was freaking wondering how we ended up there since she went according to her car's compass. I told her that my grandmother's piping in telling me she approves!

4th... Back in 2001 right before 9/11, I was in Jackson, MS visiting another single friend. We were both frustrated with dating and she showed me a book that she had bought. The premise was to pick a date you wanted to get married and begin making goals toward it (I guess so that women don't fall for commitment-phobes kind of idea - don't remember the name of it nowadays). So I through out the date October 8. WELL, now that I'm happily engaged to FH we went to our favorite venue today only to find out that 9/23 was booked and Saturday night weddings would put our house in foreclosure. I was against a Sunday b/c I didn't want to put my guests out, so we chose Columbus Day weekend so that some people may have off. The sales director said that the sunday of that weekend is Oct. 9, but FH and I just checked the calendar for '06 and it's actually... October 8!!!! We are calling tomorrow to have the date held! It's a sign!!!!!

Re: Anyone believe in fate/super natural????

I went dress shopping yesterday-- we has this older woman helping us.. At first, I was being an 'agist' and was thinking I would have preferred someone else.. Then decided she has probably been doing this a long time and she knew her ****.. Then after a couple of mins- I said to my mom- she reminds me of grandma- who passed away 2 years ago.. My mother agreed.. it was weird. anyway- I was looking again at a dress that I going to get- a change from what I originally decided and this saleswoman said my dress was her favorite and could tell it was the right one for mE..

While I am sure it is part of the sales schpiel- we'll take it for what it's worth-- but I think your signs are right on the money..

Re: Anyone believe in fate/super natural????

I definitely believe in fate/supernatural. I truly feel that my DH was a gift to me and my brother that passed away had something to do with us meeting. My DH has the same birthday as my deceased brother and I truly took that as a sign!! And there are a couple other things that have happened as well!!
