Altho it is August my boss has put me in charge of booking our holiday Christmas party and she wants it booked by september.. I am looking for a place in Manhattan any place in manhattant that u can go to by train would b great, cause plenty of pple r gonna wanna drink....that not only has dinner but also a place to dance afterwards or real close by to dance at. S0mething that would b like maybe 50 per person for the food and a little more for dancing, then a cash bar..., any ideas would b great :)

Re: EDITED: Xmas Party Recommendations

i was laughing because you edited it...i have never thrown a party in the city, i have no idea what to suggest to you...i guess it's like everything else though...variety of expensive to cheap...it's good that you are working on this now...i'll bet restaurants book up quickly for christmas parties...

Re: EDITED: Xmas Party Recommendations

it depends on how many people you have, but El Cantinero has great mexican food and they have a little bar/danceclub upstairs. It's a small place. i've never really been to the bar part, but the margaritas are awesome!

Re: EDITED: Xmas Party Recommendations

I answered your post about Sequoias in the seaport...I thought you were looking for a bar after work...for a Xmas party this place should be sorta what you're looking for.

I DJ Sutton Place.

They do Xmas parties all the time. Definitely want to book now. You can rent out the entire 2nd floor... or the 2nd floor lounge... or the roof (but might be too cold for Xmas).

If you want to do a party... I would suggest doing it on a Thursday night... starting at 6pm because thats when I start the music.

If you book and tell me you are from LIW... i'll hook you up with plenty of requests.
