I personally did not stay there, but one of my cousins did for our wedding & she loved it. SHe told us the rooms were awesome, and the little restaurant (Cristina's, I think) was great.
Congrats!
5 DAYS!!!!!!!!! OMG

Re: We booked a Hotel room for the wedding night
FW and I stayed at the Roslyn Claremont. And this place was REALLY good.
It was a quick local getaway for Valentine's weekend 2003. There was a wedding reception there and it looked like everybody was having a great time.
We just retired to our room and watched 'The Ring.' with a bottle of champagne.
I loved it there and honestly would go back.
Oh.. and they have a gret alittle restaurant called Christina's. It was AWESOME!
You really like it there!!!
Congrats!!!!

If I remember correctly its very close to the swan club...Do you know where the George Washington Manor is? Its right next to there which are both relatively close to the swan club.

Re: We booked a Hotel room for the wedding night
Ok here is a good related question.I am having my ceremony at the Swan Club. I dont really see a need to book a limo just to transport the bridal party and my groomsmen from a hotel 5 mins away from the Swan club.
What would you recommend for short-term transportation in a case like this?

I thought the same exact thing because my hotel isn't too far from my hall either..
But it's your Wedding Day, man.
If the budget allows for a limo.. go for it.
If not.. no biggie.
Cabs or whatever could do as well.

Re: We booked a Hotel room for the wedding night
Well thats the deal... me and FW are trying to stay within budget. I know limos are expensive, and it would kill me to book one just for a 5 min ride.

Ask the hotel if they have a Pick-up service

DUH! Good suggestion.

I'll look into the limo idea regardless... but the prices have to be MAD GOOD for something simple like that.

Negotiate with your Limo Co....see if you can get a free p/u at the end of the night...we negotiated & got it
