Question about Focus test

Question about Focus test

FI and I took the focus test on May 1 or 2. I have been calling the deacon in charge of our wedding since June to discuss the results. I have never gotten a call back. How important are these results to discuss? Do we need to do it before we start pre cana (which we're doing in Sept)? I have called so many times; I'm not sure what to do anymore! Thanks for the advice!

I'm pretty positive that you need the results to begin pre cana...but each parish could be different--have you tried going to their office? maybe you'll be going over the results right before pre cana begins and that's why they haven't contacted you?? We didn't get ours until a few months after we had taken the test. Good luck!

We took the Focus at the end of June and just had our last session of pre-cana. We still haven't gone over the results.

We HAVE to in order to say that we completed pre-cana, but depending on your parish, like the other post, maybe you can do it after. We are going over it next week.

AHHH TEST?!?!?! What test???? FH and I are meeting with priest on Wednesday - The engamanet interview - do i have to take a test then? Oh please I know nothing about this it is like pulling tteth to even get Fh to go, let alone take a test and be serious about it. Any info will be so helpful!

Don't worry! Some don't require it and we took it a few months after the first meeting w/ the church. Just ask your preist about it when you meet.
