Going Waxing Tomorrow for the first time at Completely Bare in NYC

I made an appointment with my mom to go to CB Spa (aka Completely Bare) It's my first time to wax besides my eyebrows and I feel embarrassed? Does any one have any tips or heard good things

are you gonna get a brazilian?? or just bikini?? anyway its not that bad lol. the first time i was sooo uncomfortable and nervous but now its like nothing!! I havent heard of the salon, however take a motrin like an hour before you go, it will help with the sensativity and redness!!! good luck!!! you will be addicted!

i was thinking of a very small bikini almost brazilian I usually just shave like I like it, but I hate stuble and I dont want to think about it when im on my honeymoon.

yeah that is good! you definitely wont have to worry about stubble, youll be good for like 3 weeks! youre gonna wonder how u ever got by without it hahahaha.

I LOVE that place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have this white wax that doesn't really hurt as much and out of all the places I have been CB is the best!!!

i think im going for the brazilian bikini i was just on their site what do u think about the one with a "flair" it has a swarovski design? Is it cheezy for the wedding?

please keep us inform on what you decided to do. how much is it going to cost you if you don't mind me asking? I would like to do some waxing as well. it will be my first time b/c normally I just shave.

As soon as they start waxing, the pain takes over and you don't care that you're half naked anymore!! It hurts A LOT, but worth it! I would go for the flair - why not? It's your wedding!! And I am sure he won't think it's cheesy!!

i ALSO made an appt for my first bikini wax, august 25 at maximus. i was originally thinking brazilian, but am re-considering!

I went there and I loved it! Very clean and calm. Doesn't hurt too bad and the girls there are very nice.

I don't want to make you nervous, but I had a bad reaction when I got a brazilian a couple of years ago. I got really bad red bumps that were there for about a week. My skin is really sensitive though. Needless to say I went back to my razor...
