How do I find an old rock & roll song for my father-daughter dance

My dad always used to sing this song to me & my sister - so I thought it would cute to dance to instead of something slow...when I asked him what song he'd like to dance to, he said that one!!

Is there a website anyone knows of to locate it?
It must be from the 50's...I only know the opening lines - Help would be so appreciated!!

Just go to Yahoo and in the search in quotes, type in the lyrics you know. Or without quotes, type the first few words you know and the word lyrics.

type in the opening line, word for word, as a google search (with dashes between each word or quotes around it so it searches as a phrase.)

If you get it word for word, Mr. Google will likely pull up the name of the song.

I live for this feature of the internet!

it was almost like a doo wop song...

(the singer in back - went little little little little lit)
oh yeah you sure are mine (something like that)

There is a song "This Little Girl of Mine" by Ray Charles - could that be it?

i think it may be the cleftones b/c i see on the web that they were a doo-wop group popular w/ heart & soul...and one of their songs was "little girl of mine"

on to finding the lyrics - can't listen to the song on amazon at work
