Question for Bourne Mansion Brides and anyone else
I want to do silver candelobras- with light blue shimmery overlays and then white chair covers with light blue ribbons to match tables
The problem is the gold in the ballroom on the molding -is it bad if i gnore it - i am trying to make a winter wonderland
Would it be better to include some goold- i included a picture of the ballroom

your idea is great because if you add to much gold it would be too much the blue and silve sounds very nice good luck the room looks great

I have been to the Bourne mansion and I think your plan sounds beautiful for that space which is beautiful as is . Don,t let the gold bother you I think it just adds to the beauty of what you plan to do in the room. GO FOR IT

i think your idea sounds good since you are using chair covers. If you werent then I would say that you shouldnt use silver candle. since the chairs are gold. All metal that I am using in decorations are gold (but that goes w/ my fall theme) silver goes good with winter so I would go for it.

Agreed... I am using gold but I am not covering the chairs, that makes a big difference.

As long as you are using the chair covers I think the silver will be fine.
