Those getting married in Jan-April...

Did you all order your BM's dresses yet? Anyone who didnt??

Im having trouble with my girls placing their order and with needing a month for alterations and having the hectic holidays thrown in, Im worried on time, and I dont wanna keep 'waiting'?

dresses are bing ordered in Sept
3mth on delivery - that
is Dec. Abt 6weeks for alterations
thats end of Feb

I haven't but plan on ordering around Columbus Day weekend. I'm only a couple of weeks after you... I think you should be ok. Contact the manufacturer and see what they say about timing.

i have an appt for the 28th - but 3 out of 4 can come that day, so i guess the order can't go in until the last one gives in her measurements

i have to say that i am getting nervous...my wedding is in FEBRUARY and FSIL is holding us up...

she STILL hasnt gotten me her measurements and told FIL's (when they came to visit this past weekend) to tell me that she will 'get them to me when she gets them to me' because she is losing weight...HELLO...that is why you get ALTERATIONS!

(sorry for the unintentional vent)

I have 2 girls left to hog tie and drag down there lol. One is supposed to go this week ( she's only 14 so its really not her fault I guess) and another one who is going when she gets back from her vacation next week.
