Whats the best way to let people know you dont want to be bothered.

So my hottie friends from Newzealand want to hang out today. Hubby & I hung out last night and they made a comment that since I am home they will comee by to hang when they get up. But I am sick like a DOG. I mean really sick. And I just want to lay in bed..But they love our daughter to pieces. When they come up..how can I politely get the point across that I am sick so they wont get hurt feelings?

I would just tell them I am really sick and not up for company in the house. There's no need to beat around the bush about that.

Are they close enough to you that they can take your daughter to the movies or something, this way you have a little bit of time to recover? If not, I would say that you are SOL and would have to suck it up and be the graceous hostess.

I know..but last night you should have seen us trying to get outta that apartment. Nothing was working. They are young and ready for fun but a bit sensitive I think.

Nope. Not close enough to take my baby. Met them 2 days ago since they are from New Zealalnd and just bunking in the basement.
