Some new questions
To everyone that helped me last time - I truly *truly* appreciate it.I decided to make a new post because I believe my last one has scrolled off into oblivion.
So, if anyone has any input on the following questions, feel free to post :).
If you're new and looking at this, I am a guy, but very new to the marriage scene, and wanted basic advice.
Last time I asked about customizing jewelry, specifically the engagement ring, with either words, pictures, etc. If anyone knows a place that does both or either (say, I buy the ring and take it there) that would be great. Someone recommended 'Creations By Nuha, in Tri-County Jewelry section' but I couldnt find it on the web, even after trying several different variations.
I am also wondering - what is the difference between an engagement ring and a wedding band? And then, should I get both and give both after I propose, or just the engagement ring first and the band later? Also, any other information concerning bands -how to choose, when to give, who buys, etc - would be great.
Thanks again!

Re: Some new questions
Ok, to help ease your mind, you only need to start worrying about the engagement ring! The wedding band is something that you two will pick out together before your wedding. You can either buy each other your rings, or you can purchase them jointly...it really doesnt matter too much. The wedding ring is worn AFTER you are actually married... you will put it on her finger and she on you during the wedding ceremony. Hope this helps!

Re: Some new questions
The engagement ring is ususally a diamond (either solitare, or with side stones... someone on the last post showed you pics). The wedding band, goes on at the WEDDING. Usually the Future Bride and Groom go shopping together for their wedding bands... sometimes an engagement ring will come as a 'Set' with an E-ring, and the wedding band together, but you would JUST GIVE THE E-ring part for the 'Proposal' and then show her the band later, which will be given at the Wedding Ceremony.
In the last post did you ever answer how old you guys were?? just curious...

Re: Some new questions
My E-Ring was made my DH designed it. He knows one of the Jewlers in Tri-County. My wedding band was made to match my E-ring since it was customized. We got the wedding band from Elsa's in Farmingdale she Was AMAZING and helps so much!!!!! She was great. I saw my Wedding band as a piece of wax then a mold and on.

Re: Some new questions
Here is a LIW board tip that may be helpful for you. For example, MissKity1274 wrote the Creations by Nuha post. On the bottom of herpost, there are green buttons, one close to the left says forum mail. You can FM (forum mail that person directly). This is great in case the thread (the posts all under your topic) falls to the back pages and the person can see your message quicker. Need any more help on this let me know!

Re: Some new questions
Ok. I'll post the pictures for you again of the engagement and wedding rings. Remember these are 'typical' ones, not necessarily what everyone does. The first is an engagement ring, the second a weddind band for a woman and the third an wedding band for a man.
You buy the engagement ring first, then together you can pick out the wedding bands, OR sometimes people like to pick out the bands for eachother and surprise the other one on the wedding day.
