Crow's Nest

Anybody been to a wedding at the Crow's Nest in Montauk? Or had dinner there or stayed in their rooms?

I went to look at it today and it looked like a good spot for a casual affair, but I've found some mixed reviews on the internet. Looking for some first hand experience. Thanks!

Re: Crow's Nest

My aunt had her rehearsal dinner there 2 years ago. From what I remember the food was great. I actually went out there in the fall to get more information on their weekend wedding package. To be honest I was a little disappointed. The price they advertise is the starting price and there are lots of areas available for upgrading which you would think would be standard. For example- wooden chairs instead of plastic chairs $3 per chair extra, the astroturf to cover the grass underneath the tent, there's a charge per square yard, the nicer tent w/ the side flaps more money. It sounds like a great idea the whole 3 day wedding and it probably is but I felt like there were a lot of hidden charges and not what I was looking for in the end. So to answer your original question I have not been to a wedding there, but when I went there to talk to someone, I did see it set up for one. Their website was pretty informative if you havn't checked it out already. http://www.crowsnestrest.com.

Re: Crow's Nest

I have had lunch and dinner there several times. The view is beautiful and the food is wonderful. Make sure you try the lobster bisque!

Re: Crow's Nest

my friends got married there 4 yrs. ago and it was probably the best time i've ever had at a wedding. we had the whole place to ourselves and the wedding afterparty (bonfire) and going-away brunch for out-of-towners made for some good memories...
