What stamps are needed to mail invites and response cards?

I am going to the post office today to weigh my invites (not very large ones). What postage should I expect to need to mail the invites and the inner response cards? Regular stamps for both?

The response card will most definitely be regular postage...the invite envelope, the postage depends on the size of your cards (square is always more $) and the weight.

I would expect to pay $.60 - that way if they are regular, you will be pleasantly surprised!

PS - have fun! Sending out the invites really solidified things for me - it all became very real after that.

I just did this yesterday - 60 cents for the outer and 37 cents for the reply card.

Came to $110 for postage!! Yikes!!

Re: What stamps are needed to mail invites and response cards?

My invitations only measured .37 cents. But I had that transparent paper, or whatever it's called, so that's pretty light. The RSVPs should be .37 most of the time.

I am having my calligrapher assemble envelopes for me. I'm too lazy.
