My friend getting married in NYC needs help

My friend is getting married in NYC in Dec. The sun sets at 4:24pm so she doesn't think she'll make outdoor pics. I've tried helping her research indoor locations for pics with no luck. We've only come up with Grand Central

and that's going to be crazy on a Sat. right before the holidays. Can anyone think of anything. Help!

You can try a Museum or something.

where is she getting married? She can't take pictures at the hall? That's what we did- we took all our pictures at the Carlyle.

This may sound a bit corny, but what about a photo sudio (does your photographer have one?) or a flower shop?

Also, try museums - although not sure what time they close.

There's always Time's Square if you don't mind all the people and some theaters might let you take pics inside

Maybe she can look into the Cloisters. Its fairly quiet in that area and the grounds are very pretty.

What about Colombus Circle by the park, or even right at the beginning of Central Park, by the Plaza.. Plenty of Lights there!!

I would try the Morgan Library- they are doing construction on the outside- but it is beautiful inside..

you need a permit to take photos at the museum. It isn't usually an issue for engagement photos because you don't look too obvious. For a wedding though - you'd need a permit.
