My Disney Review...
Sorry to keep you waiting...LOLJust got back last night. I wish I was still there. August is terribly hot at Disney World, but we broke our days up by going swimming.
Resort: Disney's Wilderness Lodge...AMAZING!
I am not an outdoorsy type of girl. I have never even been camping. This resort was so great, I cant wait to return. The theming is awesome, obviously a wilderness theme. But the resort is grand! The lobby is 5 floors high and breathtaking. People would literally hang out in the lobby all day and night. We couldnt take our eyes off it! From the lobby was a brook that flowed through the courtyard into the pool. It was just beautiful. The hot tubs and pools were great, and they were set on the bay lake. This lake is so beautiful, we rented boats and toured the lake just to look at the lodge from the water. SO NICE!
Our room was adorable, the maids would leave towels in the shape of animals for us each day. VERY CUTE!
The resturants were terrific too at the lodge. Artist Point is very fancy and expensive. The food is great, but a bit to fancy for me. I liked the Whispering Canyon, it is a loud yet fun place to eat. The waitors interact with you, it is also so much fun for kids!!!
The parks were all amazing. I love the Wishes fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. We went 3 times! Also, the spectromagic parade is a must see.
At MGM we saw the fantasmic show in the rain (unfortunately), and it was still awesome. I highly recommend that! Book the fantasmic dinner package so that you can get better seating.
We loved Epcot and Animal Kingdom too. The safari at AK is so incredible. Go in the morning so you can see all the animals before they go to sleep.
As for restaurants...We also ate at Narcoosee's on the water at the Grand Floridian. It is pricey, but so yummy! I suggest walking around the Grand Floridian even if you dont eat there. It is lovely.
We also tried Ohana at the Polynesian. SO MUCH FUN! It is a polynesian buffet. They have live music, great drinks, and the food was great!
If you have any questions let me know. Oh...another recommendation. Go see the illuminations fireworks/laser show at Epcot. If you book dinner at 7:30 at the Rose and Crown restaurant and ask for outdoor seating you could get the best view in the park of the show. We lucked out and got a great waterside table. VERY ROMANTIC!
Well that is all I can think of. I will try to show some pics soon.

Glad you had fun! Thanks for your review...
I haven't been to Disney since I was a kid in the early 1980s. Sounds like a LOT has changed!

Glad you loved the WL!! I forgot to tell you about the towel angels, ducks, etc!!!Did you ask for Ketchup at the Whispering Canyon?
We actually got engaged at dinner at Whispering Canyon and take a picture at the table every time we return.
Would you believe the first time we ate at Artist Pointe, I wasn't feeling great & had the Mickey Mac & Cheese off the Kids Menu?
You have officially made me jealous!!!

YAY! I'm SOOO jealous. I have to still get my pics developed from my June trip. I can't wait to go back. Just last night FH was asking me how much it would cost to renew our annual passes (we weren't planning on going back again until our honeymoon..gotttta save $$). It sounds like you had a great time. The seats from the fantasmic dinner aren't actually that great, btw. Sounds like you had a great time. It's my favorite place in the world, We got engaged at Disney too!
