Reception sites (Nassau pref) for small weddings?
Planning a very small wedding - about 65 attendees, maybe even 60. Got a great rec. for Swan Club and am seeing them tomorrow.
Does anyone else have any other suggestions? I am also seeing the Milleridge Carriage House, The Metropolitan and Westbury Manor tomorrow in hopes they can do small receptions.
I saw The Woodlands and Caryle on the Green but they weren't for me and Caryle told me on the phone they would accomodate, but in person said no way.
My parents live in Nassau and prefer Nassau as a reception site, but I am also open to western Suffolk.
Thanks in advancew for your help!

There's a place called "Swan something" I went to a wedding there a year or so ago with like 44 people I think. I'll try to find out the name. FM me to remind me.

The swan club is absolutely beautiful!! You can also try The milleridge. Their carriage house accomodates parties under 100 people. Also try Leonards of great neck, ariana waterfall, coral house, and manor east.

Re: Reception sites (Nassau pref) for small weddings?
I actually just went to look at the Swan Club yesterday- the grounds are very pretty and they do accomadate for smaller weddings in one of their room. I wasn't too crazy about the fact that there would be 3 weddings going on together and the grounds can be used by all of them, they don't designate certain areas to each party. But they are definately worth checking out.

I went to a wedding at the Sans Souci (right around the corner from Swan Club)... It is so pretty and great for a small wedding, only one at a time.. You should try to get an appointment there too... Oh, and the food was great too

Re: Reception sites (Nassau pref) for small weddings?
My cousin had her wedding at the Carriage House in April. It was really charming and the food was good (esp. the cocktail hour.)
I am getting married at the George Washington Manor in Oct. We have a minimum of 75 for our room, but Jeanine, the banquet manager, is really nice, so maybe you can work something out. Like the Carriage House, it's a really cozy, charming site.
Also went to smaller weddings at: Leonards- really good food, nice sized room and while there were other weddings going on I don't remember that I noticed. Ariana Waterfall- excellent CH food, loved the layout of the place and it was lots of fun. I'd look at these places too.

I think Stewart Manor Country Club can host smaller weddings too and they do only one wedding at a time.
Stewart Manor
Also try maybe the Coral House in Baldwin.

Definitely look at George Washington Manor. They have a couple of different private rooms that accomodate different numbers of people. And the food is supposed to be fabulous! WE had a tasting before we booked them, and everything was great.
