Black bridesmaid dresses, ivory brides dress- what color flowers?

I am going to have ivory roses, what color should the girls have? do you think it would be ok for them to have a smaller version of my bouquet?

I wore an ivory dress. my girls wore black dresses...my bo-k was ivory (mixed flowers) and my girls had multi-coloured flowers...here are some pics...

My bridesmaids are in Black, and I'm in ivory. I actually decided that I wanted us all to have basically the same bouquet- so, they're all red opium roses (dark red, but not black red) with hot pink spray roses to break up the red. Mine will also have black magic roses (the really dark, almost black ones). No greens, no baby's breath on any of them.

I really like red on black. And red on white/ivory.

i'm in white and my BMs in black - i'm carrying pale pink and they're carrying deep pinks/reds.......

i would add a splash of color - perhaps red?

what are some other colors you plan to incorporate? what is the color of the room for the reception?

I was just w/ my florist this morning, I am wearing ivory and my girls are wearing black, i first decided on a ivory colored bo-k, and the girls w/ deep reds and burgandy's etc..beautiful and i liked their flowers better, so this morning we decided on soft fall colors, so i think i am using a creamy orange (for fall) and ivory and i think a pale pink of roses, it is very beautiful. I just called FI and asked him what color for the guys and HE SAID an organe color to represent fall, so that is fine.... I was afraid the ivory bo-k would not stand out w/ my ivory dress and too bland...good luck!

I'm in ivory and the BM's are in black...the flowers are all different shades of red - from black-red to rose red...no green filler or baby's breath.


ETA: All of our boo-k's will have the same colors...except mine is all garden roses...the BM's are carrying dahlia's, mini calla's, spray roses and another flower or two...while the two MOH's will carry the same as the BM's plus a couple of garden roses.

My girls are having smaller versions of mine as well but I think the great thing with black is that you can pick just about any color combination and it looks great.

I'm in white and the MOH and BM are in black. Their bo-ks will feature blue and green hydrangeas with pale yellow and white flowers.

Mine will feature those colors plus some purple. I like the idea of the bride's bo-k standing out from the others but not being totally different.
