Rehersal dinner question
I was wondering the purpose of one. We are having a rehersal the morning of, real quick. Is a dinner necessary? who comes to one? When is it?

Re: Rehersal dinner question
we are doing a rehearsal dinner so that we can spend time with all of the people involved and to give gifts to our bp and parents. it will be a lowkey affair.

Re: Rehersal dinner question
Are you having a lot of out-of-towners who are staying in hotels the night before? Usually, those people (especially family) are invited to a rehearsal dinner, so that you can spend time with them, and because you (or your family and the groom's family) are considered their hosts for the weekend. It could be the most informal of gatherings, though....a bbq or heros at your house.
