Girls working in Mid Town Manhattan...in case you don't know
This memo was just distributed
DATE: August 31, 2004
SUBJECT: Demonstration Information
As you are probably aware, there are two demonstrations scheduled in mid-town this week. The first is for 4:00 PM today at the Fox Studios, 1211 Avenue of the Americas, between 47th and 48th Streets. The demonstration, scheduled to last two hours, will specifically target Fox media personality Bill O'Reilly. Based on our communication with the NYPD, we are not anticipating any effect on the Time & Life Building.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, there will be a "March on the Media", with demonstrators scheduled to march past CNN, NBC, CBS and Fox. Police estimate that protestors could number as many as 5,000.
Neither group of demonstrators has indicated any intention of causing violence, and the NYPD will have large numbers of officers at both demonstrations.

Re: Girls working in Mid Town Manhattan...in case you don't know
If it makes anyone feel better, here's a tidbit of information I received last week about this particular protest. All the protestors planned to do -- at least as of last week -- was to march while repeatedly shouting the words "SHUT UP!" (one of Bill O'Reilly's frequently used catchphrases when he dislikes the person he's interviewing). That's all I know.

You sure they are only protesting Bill O'Reilly - seems that "Shut up" can go for most of the city.
