Re: Engagement Party Advice
i say register before the engagement party.....people LOVE to buy gifts for people getting married....so it's nice for you to let them know some things you'd like to have. And I dont' think it's bad luck to use the items before you're married.

Re: Engagement Party Advice
I say register. I got a lot of gifts at my e-party because they were things I either didn't want or didn't like.

Re: Engagement Party Advice
BEWARE! If you don't register you might end up with a lot of useless crystal!! I registered but didn't put where on my invites. I ended up with a nice mix of cash and gifts off my registry.

Re: Engagement Party Advice
I did not register for my e-party. We received mostly cash gifts, which was very useful for us.

Re: Engagement Party Advice
We received mostly cash. Also, a couple of pretty picture frames. (one ugly candy dish)My only word of caution is that if you do register, and you receive registry gifts, I think that you SHOULD use them, just to make sure that they work properly and aren't broken...
Have fun!!!
