Need Cake Suggestions for my e-party at the SandCastle.
Hey, as many of you all know I'm having my e-party at SandCastle. They are giving me the option to pick any type of cake me and my FI want. At first I told him I wanted Tiramisu cake, but I just realized that we will have Tiramisu during the Vienessian Hour. Can you ladies give me any suggestions on a good flavor for a cake or a type of cake, or if your having a party at SandCastle, give me some suggestions. I was actually considering doing an ice-cream cake made out of noccola(hazelnut).-Thanks.

OMG noccola ice cream is to die for!!!! But one thing to keep in mind is many people are allergic to nuts. If you know you are okay go for! My cousin wanted to do it for her wedding and the BM talked her out of it for this reason. But weddings have so many more people. Some of my other fav cakes are vanilla cake with french cream and strawberries, napolean cake, and lemon curd with raspberry! YUMMY!!

Your so right, noccola ice cream is WOW, so tasty. I'm going to tell my mother about it and see what she says. I don't want to end up being responsible for killing anyone. Napolean Cake is also really good. Do you think it's a good idea to do a ice cream or a non-ice cream cake? I know that I would prefer the ice cream cake. I just have to find out whether I can change the cake to ice cream. The party is in May so it's not too cold to eat ice-cream. Thanks for your suggestion.

I personally LOVE ice cream, so I would say go for the ice cream cake. Otherwise, another suggestion is cannoli filling in a white or yellow cake.

Mmmmm yeah!! Cheesecake! With frech fruit on top. Oh geez, I am sooo craving cheesecake now!! Or, what about mini-tarts with fresh fruit on top, as an alternative all together to a cake? Just a thought.

Re: Need Cake Suggestions for my e-party at the SandCastle.
I loooooooove cheesecake. The only thing is that it will be out also during the Viennesian Hour. I don't want to have the same cake being served if it's also going to be placed out during the Vienessian Hour. When I go to SandCastle, I want to ask them exactly what cakes are part of the Vienessian. But,I think I am leaning towards an ice cream cake. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

That's a cute idea. YUMMY, also. Did you ever see those miniature wedding cakes in magazines? I think they are so adorable. I was even considering having them, but not sure as to how much they would charge. They are probably $$$$$.
