Opinion of some Nassau bridal shops needed

I have been checking out dresses online, and some of the shops I am planning to go to are:
Beautiful Bride (right near me in Lynbrook)
The Wedding Plaza (Baldwin)
Lillette's

Does anyone have anything positive or negative to say about these places? Is there any other place I should definitely check out?

Also, I'm planning on starting to shop in December, which is 14 months before my wedding. Any opinions on whether I should go earlier or later than that? Thanks!

I live in Lynbrook ! My sister got her dress at Berautiful bride in Lynbrook. It is a small shop and I thought the service was personalized. They measured me for a bridesmaids dress we ordered the bridesmaids dresses at Bridesave.com and they did the alterations! No problems!

I got my dress at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place....had a really good experience there!
I ordered my dress about 3 weeks ago, and I am not getting married until next October.

I went to the Wedding Plaza to look at dresses and they were very nice and helpful. What I liked was that they had pictures of the dress in the bags so you could see what it looked like on... but I found my dress somewhere else!

I got my dress at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and so far no complaints!!!

But I've been to Lillette's for several occassions over the past year and they are amazing! I would have purchased my dress from them but they don't accept credit cards and I live on plastic!!

i started to order my dress from a private boutique but now i'm finding out i can get it for much cheaper at FlowersByBurton in suffolk..i am so glad i checked..you should be careful and make sure you check for better prices..

I had 2 dreeses ordered at The Wedding Plaza of Baldwin and I was very happy there- the other 3 dresses came from The Bridal garden in Bethpage and I was NOT happy there- they told my BM that she was fat and that is why the dress did not fit her right- she was FURIOUS!!! If they had fit her right in the first place it would not had been tight on her- she did not gain any weight the seamstress took in too much material. Hope this helps. I also say to check out the BBB before you order anyhtign aND ask around.
