Updated at Bottom - need shoe place addresses...please
I got my shoes yesterday at DSW!!!! So excited but now I will need to get them dyed. Anyone know of a place that will dye shoes purchased from other stores? Preferably in Nassau???
Please see below or make new suggestions - any help is greatly appreciated!!!

I know here in Brooklyn and a shoe maker in the city, they charge 15.00 to dye shoes.

Are you having trouble find a place that does them? Your best bet is a shoe maker.

Yes...I will need to dye the white shoes an ivory color and I don't know where to begin looking. I've never had to do this before. So I'm hoping someone can recommend a place where it'sokay to walk in with a pair of shoes and get them dyed.

That's just it - crazy as it may sound I don't know any stores that dye shoes at all - I've honestly never had to do it.

I know Payless has dyeable shoes maybe they could do it. If you have a Fabco shoe store, they have dyeables. How far are you from Bklyn. There's a store here in Brooklyn that dyes shoes.

I am getting my shoes dyed at Craft Shoes (eh-i was supposed to pick them up yesterday!)
Craft is in Commack on Jericho Tpk..so that may be farther than you wanted to go
Don't know the others

I grew up in Holbrook so as a force of habit I tend to find myself back in the area often. I just found the address - can you let me know how your shoes turn out? Thanks!
