Books For SOldiers! TO Donate to our troops!!

I know this has been posted before, but reading the bulletin boards for this site makes me very emotional every time...
BOoks For SOldiers


There are different requests of what people want/need and there are addresses to send them to, etc...

So fi yhou are feeling charitable, or are a teacher and want to 'adopt' a soldier...this is the place to do it...

even sending clippins from the SUnday newsday of the comics will brighten their day....

THANK YOU FOR RE POSTING THIS, my FH is in Iraq right now with the USMC and all I can tell you is that every letter, clipping, book you send is so appreciated. Remember these boys/girls have nothing!

even emails stating what is going on in the states are printed and read by all because they just need something to do other than watch everything that is going on around them... they get some time off, *VERY LITTLE USUALLY SUNDAYS* and its a great way for them to try to 'get away'

PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN, i send them care packages *my FH company* every other week.

I got quite a few things at the dollar store, etc...and will be sending them out on Tuesday when th PO opens again....

I got a lot of different stuff....probably have enough to make a few boxes up!

Just to let you know...My GF and I are sponsering a Scrapbooking crop in NOv to benefit the Books for Soldiers cause!! I posted the info on the Crafts board.

We are going to be using the proceds from the crop and going out and buying things for the soldiers. If you let me know your brothers name, the number in his patrol and thier address I will make sure that they get packages from us!!

i think this is an absolute wonderful thing. I know that the soldiers love getting mail and packages. its something for them to look forward to. I know because my brother is in afganistan ( he was unable to be at our wedding ) and when he gets a package it can make his day! Thank you everyone who contributes!

SO holly can we burn Cd's and send it just not say that we sent it? I can burn so many cd's.
