NYC-Queens Teachers...I have a question

I'm still looking for an elementary school job and a lot of my teacher friends are telling me to go to the Regional Office. Where is the Queens Regional Office???? and when should I go? I was thinking of going tomorrow...any ideas for me please!!!

There are multiple Region Offices, so there have to be more than one in Queens. Try www.nycenet.edu- that will give you the addresses of the Regional offices in Queens- I bet there are at least 3, if not more.

not a teacher but on a lot of committees. It is in Whitestone by whitestone Lanes, that is for Region 3 or as teachers put it the ROC

ETA Ive been trying too, but your best bet is like Tracy inqueens said look on the website right now everything seems to say no vacancies. Im going to wait till school starts to see cause opnings happen all the time

Yes, keep looking both of you! One year I sent out resumes but ended up staying in my old school. Then I got a call on the second day of school from a place that had a sudden and unexpected vacancy. I know at my school my principal is hoping that some last minute $$ comes through so he can take back a few people he had to excess. So those postions do come up.

Go to Region 3, my principal has about 4-5 vacancies he needs to fill asap!!!!!
