For my friends who have worried about me.. My past week and half of living hell (VERY LONG)

Ok, so I’ve been EXTRA busy. OMG Drama!!!
Though I’d share here since it’s really NWR & Wedding related as well. So we were off work for RNC. Work from home if you live in Long Island. So I was home all of last week.

Saturday Aug 28 – Wake up early to take Jim’s car in for a look over before we need to return the car (lease). Go get in my car, it won’t start. Finally starts take it to the shop drop it off to be looked at, NOT Jim’s. Run multiple errands and go back to get my car. They say it’s fine, but then it dies, while I’m there, won’t start. Leave the car there, AGAIN. Girls night out. Saw Hero.

Sunday Aug 29 – Car shop closed. Sleep in!

Monday Aug 30 – Drive Jim to work. Went to Nassau Community College to enroll in school. Haven’t been in school in 11 years. Very exciting, EXCEPT they told us that right there and then we owed money. I wasn’t expecting that. My company pays for school, but Nassau wanted money in 24 hours … so $359 late I walk out. Drive over to doctor’s office to get appt for immunization verifications. Meet Jim for Lunch and work from his office remotely in afternoon then drive him back. Check in on car THREE times!!! Distributor is dead … $450 and NO car … drove away.

Tuesday Aug 31 – Drive Jim to work. Work remotely from Jim’s office in the morning. Go scream at Macy’s Bridal for my dress is REALLY not Ivory. Figure out what the hell to do with the BM dresses that don’t fit. Find a seamstress, have lunch with Jim, run MORE errands, pick Jim up from work then pick up my car at the shop and drop off Jim’s.

Wednesday Sept 1 – Drive Jim to work. Work remotely from his office, then rush back to see the doctor who takes my blood to see if I have the immunities I need. Check on Jim’s Car, study for my Broker’s License exam then pick Jim up from work, go pick up his car.

Thursday Sept 2 – THANK GOD no driving folks to work! Stayed in my room all day studying. Did not Eat, did not drink. Jim came home at 5 and out we went for food.

Friday Sept 3 – Early morning meeting with client. Lunch with client, then off to a B&N for MORE studying. Meet Jim at home.

Saturday Sept 4 – Wake up early and go to see the pastor for the wedding. Pick out his robe and his cross. Discuss our plans and such. Go home late afternoon and have it out with so-called maid of honor. Who probably won’t show. She’ll let me know Friday (?? Huh ??)

Sunday Sept 5th – Send out invites, prep Jim’s car, KICK BUTT orient sale in Huntington, bought screen for wedding and side tables. Put into my tiny car and took back home. Unload then go out to eat something. Come home and start more studying, testing. Find out I have no immunities for Mumps.

Monday Sept 6th – Wake up early get on the road to Jersey City. Have some ‘issues’ with the dealership and return the car. TRY to drive back but didn’t realize there was a parade (West Indies). WAS going to study in the car, but Jim left my books at home. Spent 5 hours getting from Jersey City to Long Island. Get home exhausted. Yet, more retesting and studying. Brother’s Bday too!

Tuesday Sept 7th – Wake up early Jim drives to work while I study in the car (we are a one car family now). Drive quickly BACK to Garden City and take this stupid Test!!!!!! Pass (yeah!) Go to the doctor get a shot (Boo!!) Drop off Jim’s plates at DMV (Boo) drive over to Insurance company and get our insurance reduced (Yearh) Go pick up Jim from work then go to School for the first time (Yeah!) find out conflict of schedules are going to force me to drop English (Boo!)

Wednesday Sept 8th – Go to work?? Please, took two hours my knee feels like it’s grinding with each step. 195 unread emails only 15 voicemails. Leave work in a rush for Math Class!! Only get Mickey D’s for quick dinner.

Thursday Sept 9th – Work work work, still behind. Leave on time, rush over to Registar’s to drop English, get my ID, go to Mall – need new shoes. Get home at 10pm!

Nothing in life is boring with me! lol

I got that stupid allergy thing going on My poor nose is so raw

Drove to Albany this past Friday right in the middle of that ridiculous storm. GOD that was horrible. Thank god I made Jim drive.

Came back home last night.

It was nice to ‘get away’. It was sort of business related but we stayed Sunday and did some shopping and drop off at the Palisades Mall on the way home and goofed off at Dave & Busters for a few hours while I got to watch my Cowboys win!
