Re: People who have visited St. Lucia or going on your honeymoon....

man...do i know how you feel. I have been going through this for so long. We finally decided on Sandals Grande. We were all set to go to the regency, but the grande is newer, and the rates are a little more reasonable. Good luck

Re: People who have visited St. Lucia or going on your honeymoon....

We are going to Sandals Halcyon on St. Lucia. It's supposedly the smallest, which I liked. Hopefully we won't have to wrangle for deck chairs! (I have heard that this happens sometimes.)

We will be able to take a shuttle to the other two Sandals resorts on the Island (for restaurants, etc). I don't know if we will do that yet.

Tripadvisor.com had a lot of reviews about Halcyon, mostly positive. I am sure that there are reviews of the other two resorts as well. Sandals.com is also a good place to look- there's lots of info and lots of pics, which helped us choose.

We're booked at the Sandals Regency (Golf & Spa). We are definitely planning on visiting the other 2 since we've heard great reviews of the different restaurants and activities that go on at there.

I read about a place called TiKaye...and it sounds beautiful! Very secluded cottages...open air shower....romantique!
I'm thinking about going.

Re: People who have visited St. Lucia or going on your honeymoon....

We are also staying at the Grande. I think the reason is b/c the travel agent said that its the newest and its very nice.

The good thing is you can go to all of the resorts. Basically I think that is good for the restaurant aspect.

we went to tikaye last year with another couple. everyone else there was on their honeymoon. the place is really nice. there's a long dirt road you have to take to get there, so we mainly took water taxis.

there's another hotel called the ladera. we went there for lunch. it has an amazing view from the pool.

Re: People who have visited St. Lucia or going on your honeymoon....

we are going to St. Lucia )Sandals Grande)- heard it is the newest and has the most to do activity wise (my FI is not one to just lay out in the sun)
I have heard good things about all and the great thing is you can hop from resort to resort!
