What should I expect at my 12 week check-up?

Do they still do the internal sonogram....It makes me so uncomfortable.

Nope, unless you havent had a sono yet you will probably get an external. if you have the Ultra Screen test done you should get a sono and blood test. If you havent had bloodwork done then you will get that done too (about 5 viles). If you havent had a PAP then you will get one of those. If you have had all that stuff you will probably just listen to the babies heartbeat.

Thank you...I hope I get to hear the babies heartbeat...I'm so excited. I want another sonogram too...just not the internal one

I've already been sent for 13 viles of blood and the glucose...I hope I don't have to do anymore blood tests for a while....my veins and arm are still healing.....Also, I haven't had the pap yet though because I already had one less than a year ago. Ehhh I hate that too...When will I get to go and just keep my pants on

We heard the heartbeat around 12 weeks but she did say that 12 weeks is early to hear and sometimes she can't get a good one. I did not have an internal sonogram done at 12 weeks and the next sonogram I had was 20 weeks.

My 10 wks and 12 wk sonos were both external. My 18 wk 4 dy sono was after drinking the 32oz of water but my sono next week I dont have to drink any water. ITS SO NICE!

I heard the HB at home at 10 wks and at 12 wks at the doc
