I GOT MY FIRST B-DAY GIFT YESTERDAY!

it was in the mailbox when we got home for a VERY good friend....a package of little things that are just for ME! A pair of sox with a S on them, pens, a lipstick holder, and a magnetic notepad!!!

It came at just the right time (after a crying fit in the car with DH)

What a nice gift! Someone was thinking about you!!

I got a package from a friend of mine last week - she sent me a book that her aunt had given her and she was passing it along. She always does things like that - gives books she already read for gifts.

It's kind of silly, but it's the thought really, isn't it? And she spend $9 sending it!!!

Awwwww that is so sweet for both of you. Your transition must be insane so just knowing that people think about you is so sweet! I love getting mail!

I hope that DH showers you with tons of gifts and attention so that you won't even realize that you're away from your family...

Besides, you'll be stuck with US all day Thursday - we're practically your family!
