Upset about Hair- What should I do??

I had my hair trial with a girl who specializes in updo's at my regualr salon. While she's doing my hair she tells me that she may not be able to do my hair for my wedding since her cousin is getting married but she would get back to me later that week. Welllll.....one month later I never heard from her but she told someone I know this weekend that she definitely cannot do my hair (and still no call from her personally). So now I have no one and I have 6 other girls who need their hair done too. Should I investigate someone else at the salon and ask for a free trial since the original girl can't do it? Or should I forget them and look into taralei or someone that will come to the house??

Sigh........I really liked my hair too.

try Jenn from the hair genie (vendor on here)... I think she's great...!!!

if the salon is convenient....try there...if not one person doing 7 heads of hair, at a minimum of one hour a girl....you'd have to not sleep!!!

I am using Marlene Alexander , i loved my hair for my trial i can not tell you how awesome that it came out, she works out of her home in Smithtown and she will come to you the day of, i got her number from Lillettes Bridal shop, they have her cards and photos of other brides that she has done in the past,,,here is her number if you decide to call her.....265-6348...good luck

You should could a free trial if she can't do your hair. That is so unprofessional!

i would go somewhere else - call mya - she is comming to us the day before - she is really easy to work with

You could ask another girl at the salon for a free trial (it's only fair) and then see if another girl will be able to also help out doing updo's for your BM's.

Or you can have someone come to the house but again for conveinance sake and the time factor, you may want 2 girls.

If that is cutting it close and you can't find anyone, you might want to tell your girls to find their own salon (ie: like if they have a regular girl they go to) and get it done and you'll pay for it (pay them back). I did that for my sister who preferred having her hair done by her own stylist. That would only work if the girls were not coming to your house before getting ready.

I would try the think I said said first and the last thing as a last resort.

if the salon is close to you - seek another hairdresser. otherwise. i have a great guy that does my hair. FM me for info
