Transportation Plans for Bridal Party? What are you doing?
Hey,I'm trying to figure out my transportation plans. My ceremony is in Brooklyn @ 4pm and the reception is in Long Island at 8pm. All I know for now is that I will have a Limo pick me up from my house.
I plan on taking pic after the ceremony andat the reception hall b4 the guests come. Question is, we don't know how we're transporting the BP. We're thinking of getting a big limo (or limo bus) for them to transport them from the ceremony to the reception hall but we don't know if we will have a limo pick them up (it's 12 people in the BP) or have them arrange their own transportation.Any advice? What are you doing?
Oh by the way, it's like a 35-40 min drive from the ceremony to the reception hall.

Well everyone in my bp is in a serious dating relationship with someone who will be a guest at our wedding. We are providing the limo from the church to the hall and there significant others or a family member will be taking them home.

most members of my BP are getting a ride home from a friend, significant other, or family...but I will have a limo at the end of the night to pick my family, so if theres a few strays they'll have a spot.

most of my bp wouldnt have a way home if i didnt provide it since i have most of the family in the bp there isnt anyone to drive - what i am doing is having them leave their cars at mom's house - lots of parking there and then the limo will drop them at moms afterwards so they can get their cars. this way they can all go together but dont have to be dropped off individually afterwards

well....we have a limo picking up the bridal party at my mother's house the morning of. They are having their dates drop them off so we can all ride together in the limo, then their dates get them home.FH and his men will be caravaning...since they are closer to the hall and and would have to be there 3 hours early for us to have the limo take both of us!
It's better this way anyway...WE are the ones with poofy dresses that can't get wrinklley. The tuxes will be fine in a regular car

This is a good question. I guess they'll all need a ride home, but couldn't they go with friends or family?I still don't know what to do about this for my wedding!

I have the same distance... 35-40 min drive.... the BP has to find their own way home.... that's the way it's always been for every BP I was ever in (and that's alot) and it was never a problem. All their parents are invited so I imagine they will catch a ride with them.Welcome New Vendors
