hands ceremony and roman catholic church wedding . . .

Has anyone heard of having the hands reading/ceremony done at a Roman catholic church wedding- is this allowed/possible- just wondering because I love it- I think it is so beautiful . . .

You have to ask your priest, because it is usually in place of the homily.

Im hoping to do the hand ceremony but I still have to talk to the priest. I have heard of some priests not letting the couple do the blessing of the hands because it wasn't religous enough.

I had the hands reading at my ceremony held at a Roman Catholic church. Some priests will not allow it, some will. We used it in place of a reading.

I had a holily and the Hands Ceremony. My Church allowed it.
