June-July Brides: what have you done? What do you have left?

Just want to gauge how I'm doing. My FH and I think we're on track, but since we live out of town it's kind of hard to book vendors.

So far we have booked/ordered:
Church
Reception Hall
DJ
Photographer
My dress!!
website it's soo cute. FH did it. FM me if you want to check it out. We linked a video of the proposal on it.


Still have:
Limo (in process of looking)
Videographer
Florists
Invites
??

Just did: Save the Dates magnets!! We ordered them tonight off!

I already selected my Bridesmaids's dresses but I'm waiting for my sister to go to the store and get all the information on ordering.

Is anyone else getting married in NY but live out of town? How are ya'll handling ordering vendors?

all i have so far is dress, almost, ordering wed.
reception hall, we're also getting married there as well.

and thats it. is that bad??
next week we start looking at photogrpahers and video. and the rest will follow.

We are not doing limos, and probably not favors (a donation to charity) and only a MOH and BM.

I'm teaching 6 classes in the spring semester (high school) and 5 of them are college level. We are also redoing the kitchen in my fiancee's house so needless to say I have to get as many things in order now.

I'm planning from CA. I did all my research online and then met with ALL of the vendors in one week this past August. I booked my band from a DVD and a phone conversation with the band leader. Crazy stuff this long distance planning. The only vendor I have left is limos but I only need an antique car for the FH and myself so I plan on booking that when I go home for my shower in the spring. Invites are easy since I will be doing them from here. It was actually easier than I thought thanks to LIWEddings!

Hi Marc Rai,

You are getting married a day before me and also at the same reception hall. My FH and I both live out of state, so it can be quite hard to plan everything, but I go home quite frequently. So far I have:

I am going dress hunting in October.

So far we are ahead of the game. I will FM you about for your wedding website.
