i think i FINALLY picked my color scheme!! Need opinions... (now with pic)

I think I finally found a color for BM dresses!! It's a bit darker than sage and looks really nice on people with olive complexions - basically my whole BP.
I would be using wine-colored and light pink flowers with it.

What do you think?

oooh, i love it so much too!!!! the color is called patina. it is from jim hjelm occasions. they definitely carry it at 'here comes the bridesmaid' in nyc, 14th street and 8th ave. 212-647-9686. hmmm... not sure how much the actual dress costs - the whole line seemed to be in the 200-300 range.

It's Jim Hjelm. You can find that brand at most stores. He has lots of great dresses. If you go to the website you can order a free catalog. I saw that picture and love it as well. I wonder what it looks like on?

Anybody see in on a non-model??

i tried it on - and trust me, i qualify as 'non-model'

the actual dress was extremely flattering on. i tried on a bunch of different dresses that come in the same satin material, because i think i'll have my BM each choose their own. overall, the dresses look great. there's even a separates line that can be good for BMs who might be much bigger on bottom than on top, or vice versa...

I love the color!!!!! They might have that dress at RK Bridal on 39th between 8th and 9th. My dress was Jim Hjelm and they had the lowest price. So, it might be worth checking the price there.

thanks for the tip! i definitely plan on checking out other places for the best prices. my only criterion will be that they carry a good number of the dresses that come in satin, so that my BMs have a good selection to choose from...

still excited...
