because were affraid someone else would book that particular vendor and youd be stuck with the bottom feeders??

I've been feeling that way. I just started planning this month for a June wedding and I found others to be so far along in planning I was scared there wouldn't be any vendors left for me. So, when I find a good one, I'm in a rush to book them.

Yes, I felt pressured, so I did the MAJORITY of the booking back in Februray... now I just have flowers and little things left. But I was worried, so we just booked them early! as it was, Fox Hollow was already booked for our first date we wanted (in July)... so we went for our second date in August!

Yes, Im always feeling that pressure as well as the pressure of not having enough time.

Oh definitly! I live in NYC and I have had to fit multiple venders (some 7) in 1 weekend on LI. But the way I have thought about the process is this....When you have found the vender that you love you just know it...and the way I have narrowed down the vendors is this site. My advice.....Just stick to your gut.
