Theme?!?! UPDATED question in reply

Okay, I don't really have a theme, but I have a color scheme. Any suggestions on table names? I know I have some time, but I am trying to toss around ideas. Thanks!

Oh, my color scheme (after much deliberation) is pink and green. Like Sage/Celery green dresses and pink and green (green hydrangeas) flowers.

TIA
-Jill

Re: Theme?!?!

For us we decided to name the tables after shows that we had done since meeting. That incorporated my current profession and his past. So, my advice is to think about things that are important to you. What are your hobbies? Places that you went on dates or trips. Special days in your lives (first kiss, first saying I Love You, etc.)

Re: Theme?!?!

We are planning on naming each table on places we've been together. Hoping to use names of places we've been together w/ ppl who are sitting at each table. (ie. we went skiing w/ a whole bunch of our friends, there table would be Stowe, VT, or the girls I went to school w/ I will name Uncle Tony's after the bar we'd always go to). For ppl that we've never spent any time w/ (parents friends) we will just use places that me and my FH have been to. I think this is a nice way to personalize the wedding.

Re: Theme?!?!

or if you wanted to just use your color scheme as your theme - you can name the tables something with the word pink or green in it..."green bay packers" or "pink Cadillac".

Re: Theme?!?!

Thanks for the ideas. I have seen others mention the "places they've been to" for table names, but we have not been many places, FL, SC and IL. Hmmmm.

I did forget to mention that we are getting married the Thurs before 4th of July (June 29) would it be silly to do patriotic type names even tho we are not doing that kind of theme?

EX:
Stars &Stripes
Liberty
Constitution
America
Liberty
Freedom

Any more?

TIA
-Jill

Thanks! I think we'll have at least 17 tables. Hmmm, not sure there are that many diff. firework names. Good idea, I can use some of the names!

Oh, FM means Forum Mail. At the bottom of each post are different options (reply, quote, forum mail, etc). If you want to send a "private" message (similar to email) to a person, you click on the Forum Mail button in the box where their message appears. Example, you want to send me a message, click the Forum Mail button on the bottom of THIS message (by me.). Got it? I'll send you one so you can see what it looks like to get one.
