Im very excited...monthes ago i started talking to this guy online..he is in the coast guard just like me but in our upstate office...When i first started my job here i read his profile and immed him to just chat and ask some q's so i would b better prepared for my job..
Long story short, i was still with my bf at the time...so i didnt think anything of it, we werent really flirty online, just chatting..and over time our convos increased..me and this guy eventually exchanged pics..yet nothing dawned on me about the situation..we always joked like oh yeah we gotta meet each other blah blah...so we eventually started talking on the phone once in a blue moon, espeically when we were bored at work we would call to chat and say hi..

then very recently we chatted online everyday, and this week we spoke a few times on the phone, last nite we chatted for like 4 hrs!!! so guess what?!! he has a 3 day weekend, and he is taking the train down to queens on friday so we can go out to dinner!! IM so excited, mind you-we have never met in person so im sooo scared!!!
but i dont kno if hes seeing this romanticly or not, maybe just as friends even, but it should b such an awesome nite out:)



--anyways with all these recent postings on 'online love' who knows!!! lol anyways thats my exciting story hope u all enjoyed:)

go to dinner with the expectation of a friendship...when you expect nothing, you end up pleasantly surprised (that's how I started with DH and look where it got ME!)

the irony to the situation is that, this situation kinda snuck up on me..like we chatted all the time but i was naive tot he fact that he really wanted to meet with me, im def. psyched plus he neveer comes into the city so its all new for him too:)

Wow I LOVE LOVE LOVE this story!! I am feeling VERY POSITIVE about this guy and about the situation for you. That is just the way to get to know someone, friends first, buildling a solid basis, etc... It sounds like this online chatting and calling has taken a very nice progression and its great you are finally meeting!!

Hey, ya never know!!! As everyone else said, have no expectations and then you cannot be disappointed. You know you guys are good as friends so you'll have a great time .. and anything else will just be icing on the cake!!

thanks felicia, im very excited also, i think the best thing is def. the slow progression, i think this build up was happening and cause i was so pre-occupied with all the crazyness i;e..my breakup, 'the date' living alone again, my cell breaking, my glasses breaking, need a new job lol..maybe i wasnt focusing on what was right 'in front of me' lol..who knows tho, a nite out is always a good thing, friendly or otherwise:)
