Spin-off of feeling blue--wedding-related...

Do any of the engaged women or men here just get sad sometimes? I feel like it should be such a happy time but sometimes I get so sad that it is the end of everything--the last holiday where I won't have to split my time, the last month waking up in my 'own' bedroom...I am looking forward to being married, and it is a happy time, but sometimes it is so sad to really 'end' my single life, and to some extent my selfish life--when I didn't have to worry about anyone else but myself....

I felt like that a little before I got married. I thought I would be sad leaving my own bedroom. It was tough for about 2 days after we got back from the honeymoon. Now everything has been great since.

You are going to love being married! Try not to worry about it too much. You will still make time for yourself and the things you liked to do before you were married.
