Help - meeting w/ Florist tomorrow

I am meeting with a florist tomorrow (my last vendor to book!!!) and am worried that I will forget all the things/people I need flowers for.

Please tell me if I am forgetting something:

Centerpieces
Bride's Bouquet
Matron of Honor Bouquet
Bridesmaids & Jr. Bridesmaid Bouquets
Petals for Flower Girl Basket
Boutenniere for Groom
Boutennieres for Best Man & Ushers
Corsages or Mini Bouquest for Moms
Boutennieres for Dads
Bouquet to place at Virgin Mary in Church

Do I need? Am I supposed to have?
Corsage for Grandmother
Corsages for Readers
Flowers for Church Altar

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

These are not necessary. I am still unsure if I am doing them, the only one I am doing for sure is Grandmother corsage (there is only 1).

Other things...
Cake Flowers?
Throw-away Bo-k?
Votive Candles/Petals for Placecard table?*
Votive Candles/Petals for centerpieces?*

*I only met with 1 florist, so far, who was 'including' these at 'no cost'.

Where are you going?

Good Luck!

Re: Help - meeting w/ Florist tomorrow

i'm sure if you are going to a reputable florist, she will tell you what you need. of course she will try to get you to agree to everything, so if you don't want 9' tall alter arrangements, make sure you tell her and def make sure its not anywhere on your contract. good luck

Re: Help - meeting w/ Florist tomorrow

I am going to Flowers by Lorraine in Massapequa. That is who The Riviera is contracted with to do the centerpieces (which I am hoping to upgrade). I just figured I'd use them since I want to BoKs to match the CP flowers.

Thanks for the help!

My FMIL is going with me. While my mom would be of more help, I thought this was something my FMIL and I could do together.

Re: Help - meeting w/ Florist tomorrow

Readers should get corsages or bouts.

I am getting my Grandparents personal flowers, but I don't think it's a requirement. But I am quite thrilled that they can be at my wedding so -- they get flowers!

Also consider an arrangement for the restrooms (though not necessary) cocktail hour tables and displays, and ask about pew bows (if that applies).

Flowers for your hair, FGs hair and/or MOH & BMs.

I felt the same way. I went to my first vendor meeting (not counting the hall), which happen to be a florist, SOOO nervous. It went well. But as was said before, they will guide you as to what is usually done.

Good Luck!

Re: Help - meeting w/ Florist tomorrow

1 thing I learned from others here: flowers for your wedding cake.

I love how that looks

Re: Help - meeting w/ Florist tomorrow

Since I am having a beach-themed wedding, I am not going to put flowers on the cake. It'll clash with the shells I am having them create.

I do LOVE that look though!
