People Are Driving Me Crazy

I really can't wait for next Friday to be over with. Through my whole engagement, I have dealt with the little snags and have tried to be flexible and easygoing, but I just can't do it anymore. I have had to bite my tongue to keep from snapping at people and can't help but act sullen when dealing with anyone involved with the wedding.

Yesterday my mother rather unceremoniously hung up on me, because I got impatient with her. Like, I know what I have to do and when I have to do it. I don't need to be reminded so please don't treat me like a child.

Also, no one in my bridal party stepped up to plan my b-party. I almost just went ahead and did it myself, but work got crazy and the time just slipped by. FSIL tried to put something together from out of state but now she can't. Now one of the girls is trying to throw something together for this Saturday, but I feel like it's half-a@@ed and I don't even want anything to do with it. I fee like if I go along with it, it's so the girls don't feel guilty about not doing anything. And I haven't asked them for ANYTHING. I've been considerate of their budgets and haven't expected them to run out and spend tons of money.

At least, to put it in perspective, FH has been as wonderful as ever. He has been getting some grief from his family too but hasn't taken any of it out on me. I haven't had a moment where I've been unsure about him. I guess it's a worthy trade off. At least he hasn't disappointed me.

Hang in there! The wedding will be beautiful and then you'll be the wife of that wonderful man, and that's the most important thing.

I TOTALLY feel for you. I'm going through the SAME thing right now, reading your review was as if I wrote it!
Let's just try to put things into perspective & enjoy. Despite our crappy BM's, & all the other BS that goes along with this Wedding stuff, in the end, we're marrying the wonderful men of our dreams!!!

I am so with you!! The little things are really driving me crazy and I am looking forward to HM so much! I feel like no one is helping, they say they will but when I ask they can't seem to do what I tell them so i have ended up dinng everything myself as usual.

I'm sure you will pull through, lean on your FH for support and avoid the people that are irritating you.

just keep in mind all that matters is that you are getting married... everything will fall into place...
