ThongLori's Harrison House and vendor review!!

Our 'second wedding' was so much fun!!! Here is an honest review!

Harrison House
This place is fantastic. It is unique and really FUN! Our guests ran amuck took advantage of the bowling alley, gardens, pool, and racquetball rooms. We also had quite a poker tournament going on in the Pub after hours!! You CANNOT BEAT the amenities at Harrison House. The food and service was also great, and it is really quite beautiful, but it was the fun amenities that sold it to the Thongs (and our guests)! The guest rooms were also wonderful (we had a HUGE suite) but some friends of mine were given two double beds instead of the king bed they signed up for. The front desk help seems to be a few semi-clueless - yet polite - college students, but overall this is just a minor complaint.

Music By Michael
Michael is a class act. He was nothing but professional throughout the entire planning process, and was so full of energy and enthusiasm the day of our event! We got so many compliments on the music and made some on-the-fly changes that Michael handled very smoothly. We HIGHLY recommend him.

Loving Color by Marie Katz, makeup artist
If someone is going to be that close to your face, you want them to be nice, right?! Well, Marie Katz is one of the sweetest girls ever!!! I felt like Marie was an old friend from the first time we met at the trial! She was on time for every appointment, listened to what I wanted, and created an end result that got me compliments all day!! She made me look and feel beautiful. If you still need a makeup artist, FM me for her info.

Twelfth Night Photo - Mike
What a sweet guy!! I had mostly dealt with Domenic initially, but their whole family is great. He was not at all intrusive, yet followed me around enough to get what I am sure will be fabulous candid shots.

Bridal Atelier by Mark Ingram - dress by Rivini
I got such stellar service here I don't even know where to begin. The ladies in the shop are SO NICE and I owe my fabulous dress to my salesperson, Sandra. I NEVER had to call to ask 'where is my dress?' - they ALWAYS called me with updates and to schedule fittings. I love them!! I do wish I had my hem shortened another inch or so, it felt like it was dragging on me a bit. This is also just a minor complaint.

United Floral
Fabulous job on the centerpieces (my MIL made the pottery) and my small bouquet!

Barbara Ross Hair Salon - Casey
Casey is awesome!!! She helped me create the 'Audrey Hepburn yet Bond Girl' look I wanted. I used a hairpiece to help get some fullness in the back and it looked FABULOUS!! I was so sad to take it off at the end of the night. I recommend fake hair to all brides LOL Everyone loved it, including ThongMatthew!!
