Lately, everyone thinks I am doing very important things on the computer and they have stopped bothering me...

I hear ya - I have been so busy at work the last few weeks.
What really sucks is that I don't have a computer at home (long story...)!!!!
Don't people realize we have weddings to plan!!! I only have like 11 1/2 months to go...haha !!

haha you guys are too funny - I always wondered if everyone else risked getting fired to post! we just got a mass email at work abt using the computers for personal use and i KNOW it was directed towards me. oh well, big mans just gonna have to get over it!

For real.... I 'm starting to get worried that they are going to run some kind of report on my internet time. I know they can do it.. I think I'm going for a firm record.
on a side note - have you ever heard of anyone getting fired for being online too much?

Me too!! I know at my last job, someone did get in trouble for being online too much. Sometimes I get freaked out big brother is watching me and I'll get busted!

I hate it, I mean this is obviously my full time job, posting and reading....who the hell are they??? They just pay my bills...Sometimes I'm on the phone and actually tune the people out when they are speaking and keep writing or reading on the board...

I am a great multitasker but I am worried about that too. I have a big office and the wheelchair ramp makes noise when people walk on it. I call it my Chat room alert- but I think my boss is still on to me!

How I itch to get on LIW during the day. Your year end bonus actually gets reflected on how much "personal" time you spend on the computer. I can honestly say I signed on once to check an FM response. And yes, my bosses made the comment trickle down to me that they will be making sure I am not planning my wedding while at work. Pretty nervy of them since I've never once slacked off in that respect. But MANY people do so they watch everyone....
