I guess ... it was my splurge for the wedding. And now I love Pam & the gang so much, I'm sure I will be having them photograph all the important things in our life.

I actually saw the picture of the bride doing her makeup in the mirror and the black lab looking at her in a magazine and I knew I had to have that photographer, so I didn't even look at anyone else. (Hey, they got me & Hershey on TV - I'm indebted!!! )

DH and I had 'family' shots taken by Patken (they also shot our wedding). It was hilarious. Cosmo was a maniac - but Doug has photographed doggie obedience schools so he was really great with him.

Re: Does anyone know photographers that take pictures of pets??

I'm curious about having this done with my kitty as well .. and after checking out the Viewpoint link .. I'm wondering .. how do they keep the cat from running off?? Thinking about my cat .. I'd be afraid that he'd take off running!

Our photographer allowed us to bring in our kitty for the 'engagement' shoot .. but I held him for those 'family' portraits.

Does anyone know how it works with kitty portraits?? (And I'm really wondering how they got those kitties to fall asleep on the bed!)

Re: Does anyone know photographers that take pictures of pets??

My very most favorite pet picture was of our big 22 pound cat Arlo. We put in him an oversized flower pot and he just plopped right in and made himself at home. The photographer took the picture looking down on him in the pot and then with the pot on the side. They are great pictures. But alas Arlo didn't move very much so he was really easy. We even carried him through the mall without a carrier. He was just that kind of cat. He would sit in the infant seat of a grocery cart in Petco and not move either. Actually he didn't even move when we brought the grocerys in. We had to step over him
